I wanted to email you on behalf of my father, Peter, to congratulate on the concert on Saturday night – the Dream of Gerontius.
My Dad is 87 and has been singing in, helping with and going to see choral concerts for many many years. He wanted to tell you that he thought this was the best thing he’d ever seen! And for me as well. He said it was absolutely fantastic!
What a piece to take on – you must have been rehearsing for many months. Beautifully sung, the orchestra was amazing and the soloists wonderful.
A wonderful night and a wonderful experience.
